About Yala Peak Climbing:
- Arrive in Kathmandu, where our tour representative will greet you and take you to the hotel, help you with all the check-in work, freshen up and relax for some time before the further journey
- Get ready to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Patan Durbar Square. After that, meet your climbing guide.
- Drive to Syabrubesi, Rasuwa, from north of Kathmandu, which offers excellent views of terraced fields, small villages, and snow-capped mountains, and passing by Dhunche before reaching Syabrubesi.
- The first trek begins from today to the Lama hotel through dense forests of alpine meadows and villages of Sherpa and Tamang, filled with the bamboo forest, home of the rare Red Panda and Black Bear.
- After arriving at Lama Hotel, continue the trek to Langtang Village alongside the Langtang River. This trail offers astonishing views of mountains and beautiful nature that will amaze you almost all the way.
- On the way, you will reach a place called Ghoda Tabela, where you've to register your entrance and permit to Langtang National Park. Cross the Chyamki Village, rivers before reaching to Langtang Village.
- Continue trekking towards the Kyanjin Gompa, passing through yak pastures and meadows. Upon arrival, get views of mountains and snowy peaks like Kyanjin Ri, Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak and more.
- Spend a day in Kyajin to acclimatise and adjust to the thinning air. Trek to a short distance to Tserko Ri, a beautiful peak situated at an altitude of 4,984m, offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
- After a sunrise view, begin your trek to Yala Peak Base Camp, soaking in views of Ganchenpo, Tserko Ri, and more. At camp, get pre-training with climbing gear, confidence and preparing for the summit.
- Finally, begin the Yala Peak climb early at 1–2 AM, aiming to summit before noon to avoid strong winds crossing rocky gullies and glacier before reaching the top, enjoy the views, then trek to Base Camp for a warm celebration.
- Trek back to the Lama Hotel, following the same route, descend through the lush green alpine forest of Rhododendrons, Oak, Fir, Pine, and Bamboo, and follow the Langtang river until you reach Syabrubesi village.
- The last day of our trek, as you continue descending towards the Syabrubesi village. You will walk alongside the Langtang River, passing numerous rural villages, valleys, and the lush green forest of Bamboo.
- Drive back to Kathmandu. It will be a long drive. You will see the beautiful scenery of rivers, terraced farmlands and passing beautiful villages and cities, arrive at Kathmandu, and explore Thamel during the evening.
