About Shey Phoksundo Lake Trek:
- Arrive at Kathmandu, starting point of the trip, meet our tour representative who will take you to the hotel, freshen up and relax or stroll around the streets of Thamel Bazaar for shopping and food.
- Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a city near the border with India. Once in Nepalgunj, explore the area before the next day's flight to Juphal, the starting point of your trek.
- In the morning, board a short domestic flight from Nepalgunj to Juphal (30 minutes), then from Juphal, begin your trek to Dunai headquarters of Dolpo, passing through small villages and lush fields.
- The next trek to the Dolpo region path passes through beautiful pine forests along the Phoksundo River, and relax by the riverside. After that, continue the journey to Chhepka, a charming village.
- Trek from Chhepka to Jharana Hotel offers a trek through views of waterfalls and dense forest, with peaceful surroundings upon arrival, stay at a lovely teahouse at the base of a magnificent waterfall.

- Today is the main day of the trek to the iconic Shey Phoksundo Lake, a turquoise blue gem surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Explore the lake, visit the Buddhist monastery, and soak in the natural beauty.
- After enjoying a full day at Phoksundo Lake, begin your return trek and descend back to Chhepka, retracing your steps through the dense forest trails and riverside paths. Upon arrival, stay in the village.
- Continue your trek to Juphal, mostly downhill and offers more scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Upon reaching Juphal, you will spend the night before flying back to Nepalgunj the next day.
- Take a flight back from Juphal to Nepalgunj in the morning. On arrival at Nepalgunj, take a return flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, relax or shop at Thamel before your final departure.
