Later lord Ganesha appeared in his appearance. Since then lord Ganesha is worshipped in this temple.

The Bhadrakali Temple has situated around 1 km from the town of Gokarna. The main deity of this temple is Goddess Uma who is an avatar of Goddess Kali. The entrance of the Bhadrakali Temple has 2 ferocious lions on either side of the entrance. It is believed that the formation of the temple took place, as Lord Vishnu instructed Goddess Uma to remain indoors after she was abandoned by Ravan.&nbsp;

Shiva Cave Temple is a temple that is just about 500m from Kudle Beach. The Shiva Cave Temple is known as the Gogarbha which means a cow’s womb. Shree Pattevinayaka Temple is situated on the southeastern side of Kotiteertha. The Shree Pattevinayaka Temple was said to be established at the time when Gokarna was facing infertile and arid soil. By divine intervention, this curse of infertility was solved and the rivers of Gangavali and Aghanashini now flow in the town of Gokarna. To honour this gift from Lord Ganesha this temple was built. His idol depicts four hands as Chintamani Vinayaka.
