About Pangong Lake:
- Pangong Lake is a 4,225-meter-high endorheic lake that spans eastern Ladakh and West Tibet. It is 134 kilometres long and is separated by five sub-lakes: Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso, and Nyak Tso.
- Pangong Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the globe. Its water, which appears to be blue, contrasts sharply with the barren mountains that surround it. One-third of Pangong Lake is in India, while the other two-thirds are in China.
About Leh to Pangong Lake Day Trip by Car:
- The trip to the scenic Pangong Lake begins at 8 in the morning with our Driver arriving at the hotel premise to pick you up from Leh.
- After the pickup, we will take you to all the eyes pleasing locations in the valley.
- You will be visiting popular attractions here like Chemrey Monastery, Chang La Pass, Tangtse, Pangong Lake, and Thiksey Monastery.
- On our journey from Leh to Pangong Lake we will stop by Chemrey Monastery, built in the year 1664, Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable mountain pass in the world, and Tangtse, a village in the Leh district of Ladakh.
- Take pictures with your groups and loved ones and enjoy the scenic beauty of Laddakh.
- Our guide will take you to a restaurant to give you a delicious lunch in the middle of the trip.
- After having lunch in Tangtse, we will visit Pangong Lake where you can enjoy the beauty of the panorama with your people.
- On our way back we will stop briefly at Thiksey Monastery.
- At the end of the trip, you will be taken back to your hotel in Leh after a wholesome tour.
