About Gidara Bugyal:
- Gidara Bugyal has situated 20 km beyond the famous Dayara Bugyal. This spot has not been very famous to the eye of mass trekkers. While Dayara Bugyal is an easy trekking spot for your weekend go-to destinations, Gidara Burgyal is an experience for serious trekkers.
- The trail is followed through the lush green altitudes and meadows with freshly bloomed flowers. Stunning and vivid views of Banderpoonch Peak & Gangotri Ranges as one ascends through the trails.
About Gidara Bugyal Trek from Dehradun:
- Our trek will first start with our arrival at Bhangeli, a small hamlet in the Uttarkashi region.
- The next day as we trek we have to cross a temple, maple or oak trees, small streams, and more making the journey from Bhangeli village to Rikoda.
- Today we will have an ascending journey ahead of us as we pass by the Thirya river and Bhojpatra forests to reach Dokrani campsite where we will stay overnight.
- The following day we will have an easy trek ahead of us, an hour of trekking from Dokrani Bugyal to Dokrani campsite then further trekking through the meadows to reach Thalotya campsite.
- Today i.e on Day 5th, we will reach the top of Gidara and enjoy the magnificent views and trek down to Dokrani Bugyal and then trek down to Thirya campsite.
- A 7km trek is ahead of today as we trek down from Thirya campsite by crossing a river we will reach Rikoda campsite and then trace back to Bhangeli village
- Final preparation for leaving behind this wonderful trek will begin from Bhangeli village to our next destination, bidding goodbye to this Uttarkashi range and blissful trek.

- For safety purposes, this activity is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
- The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be part of the activity.
- The activity might be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. The next best possible time slot will be informed in such a scenario.
- Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp object, lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, knife, etc
- Participants are requested to report at the venue at least 30 minutes before their chosen time slot. Timings must be strictly followed, as the activity is strictly time constraint
- Participants must pay attention to the guidelines given by the instructor before and after the activity.
- Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages before and after the activity.
- Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal.
