Know before you book
- You will need to bring your original and a copy of a Valid ID Proof.
- Pack warm sets of clothes, a fleece jacket, and a windproof jacket.
- Don't forget to bring wool or fleece gloves, hats, scarves and thermal inners.
- Wear a good pair of trekking shoes with a good grip during your trek. Make sure it is waterproof.
- Have a couple of pairs of waterproof trekking clothes and a raincoat.

By Air:Jolly Grant Airport - Dehradun(DED) is the nearest airport, from where one may take a taxi to reach Govind Ghat. From here, one has to negotiate the distance by trekking upto 16 KM to reach the city.
By Road:Valley of Flowers is connected via road only upto Pulna Village(4 KM from Govind Ghat) & then you need to trek upto 13 KM to reach the city.
By Train:Rishikesh Railway Station(RKSH) is the nearest railhead to reach this city. You may first reach Govind Ghat from the station and then trek further upto 16 KM to reach Valley of Flowers.
