About Harishchandragad Trek:

• Harishchandragad is one of the most beautiful hilltop forts in Maharashtra. This fort's strong walls have numerous access ways, including Junnar Gate, Sadhale Ghat, Nalichi Wat, and Indore Wat.
• It is quite ancient and the remains of the microlithic man have been found here in the past.
• The sculptures on the temples of Nageshwar (near Khireshwar village), Harishchandreshwar temple, and Kedareshwar cave are linked to Shaiva, Shakta, or Naath and is suggestive of the fact that the fort dates back to the medieval period. The fort was afterward taken over by the Moguls.
• It was taken by the Marathas in 1747. Sapta Tirta Pushkarini, Kedareshwar Cave, Konkan Kada (Konkan cliff), Taramati mountain, and Harishchandreshwar Temple are the main attractions on Fort.
• It gives terrific importance to the Malshej Ghat. The spot has beautiful views of mountains and lakes which can be seen through mist and fog. 
• Give the trek a shot to enjoy the views, while at the same time know more about our history and culture.  

About the Activity:

• You would initially meet at one of the points assigned to you and talk to your instructor.
• Next day, reach the base village and relax for some time in the bus.
• The Instructor will let you know about the rules and regulations that one must follow during the trek.
•  You would visit the Kedareshwar temple, Harishchandra temple, Pushkarni caves and see the beauty of the place.
• Next, you need to visit the Konkan kada and have a fun evening, relaxing and being amazed at the shape of it.
• Soon after, descend from the place, reach the base village and travel to the railway station.
• End the trip with a trek load of memories.
