- The Rupin Pass Trek reaches up to 15,275 feet, an exhilarating journey as our trail is blooming with the most exquisite wonders of nature that Himachal Pradesh has to offer. Trekking through luscious forests of oak and pine trees, glacier meadows, under a starry sky in the waterfall campsites and stunning Kinner Kailash, makes this trek the perfect place for both thrill seekers and nature lovers.
About Rupin Pass Trek from Dehradun:
- We will start our trekking journey on an exciting note as we hop on an 8-hour long drive covering 210 km from Dehradun to Dhaula, with river Yamuna flowing by our side.
- Our trekking journey begins as we trek through lush green lands and enjoy the scenic beauty all around us and the glimpses of Rupin as we make our way to Sewa village and visit the famous Kinnaur temple.
- Day 3 trek will take us through thick woodlands and under the shades of Deodar and Walnut trees till we reach the highest and last village of our trek - Jiskun (7,700ft)
- The next day we will trek through snow patches, and snow bridges and we will also visit Saruwas Thatch and the U-shaped valley and get lost in the bewitching views with the sound of rushing water from thousands of waterfalls below us. Some more trekking will lead us to our destination, Jakha campsite.
- A long but scenic and easy trek ahead of us, an exciting day as well as we get to see different sights of the mesmerising turquoise water of Rupin river and a chance to explore and camp between rocks at Danderas Thatch.
- Today there will be quite an increase in altitude(13,100 ft) as we will reach one of our highlights in this trek, the upper waterfall campsite, a mesmerising place with serene beauty, closer to the scenic Rupin river than ever.
- Today is a big day ahead of us as we will finally cross the Rupin pass, trekking through Rati Pheri, Rupin Pass Gully and finally the thrilling trek to Rupin pass and enjoy the panoramic views of Dhauladhar Range. We will trek to Ronti Gad after, our alluring campsite where we'll stay tonight.
- The last trekking day is upon us and it will start smooth and easy and then open to the views of Mt. Kailash, a thrilling end to our journey. Passing by Lake of Sangla Kanda and then Baspa Village to reach our final destination, Sangla. From Sangla arrangements for our final departure to Shimla will be arranged.

- Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages.
- Drink efficient water and walk slowly, no need to rush.
- Guidelines issued by the respective Government are to be followed. Social distancing is to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and the use of masks are recommended.
- ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking and upon arrival.
- Carry enough winter garments as well as hiking gear such as hiking boots, backpacks, neck warmers, etc.
- If participants feel unwell at any moment they should contact the guide and not avoid or push themselves.
- To protect the ecological stability of our travel places avoid plastic bags and do not pollute the campsites or nearby sites.
- Mobile connection and computer charging points may or may not be available on all campsites at all times.
- Bring enough water and snacks to keep yourself hydrated and full throughout the trek.
- Carry minimum luggage, the more you have, the more trouble.

By Road:Dehradun is well-connected to the major destinations in India via NH 72. Regular buses ply from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi to Dehradun.
By Train:Dehradun Terminal Railway Station(DDN) serves the city excellently connecting it with cities like- Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, etc. Then you may hire a taxi or an autorickshaw.
