About the Pindari Glacier:
- The views from the Dhakri Khal bypass are especially beautiful, taking in the various snow-capped peaks that form the southern rim of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. This walk combines stunning and peaceful lakes with crystal clear waters, snow-capped mountain peaks, and intriguing wood bridges to create a magical and adventurous experience!
- The Pindari Glacier is situated in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar district. Additionally, it is the source of the Pinder River, which merges with the Alaknanda River in Karnprayag. This glacier's zero point is situated at a height of 3660 meters. This trekking route winds through the jungle and offers beautiful views of peaks like Pawali Dwar (6,683 m) and Mt. Maiktoli (6,803 m), Nanda Kot, and more. It is located at the southern end of the Nandadevi Sanctuary (6863. MTS).
About Pindari Glacier Trek:
- The journey begins from Kharkiya, as all the trekkers meet there and then we trek to Khati Village from there and spend the night over there.
- In the morning, we will have breakfast and trek to Dwali, the route is quiet and peaceful and once we reach there we will do camping and stay overnight there.
- The next day we will trek to Phurkiya which is close to Zero Point, The trek route is a bit rough and steep upwards but it is fun and adventurous. We will spend the night at the Phurkiya campsite.
- The next is very exciting, as we have to trek to Zero Point, witness the mesmerizing views of the valley, and capture the moments, and then we will return to Phurkiya.
- After breakfast, the next day we will return to Khati Village and stay there overnight.
- Day 6, the last day, we will check ou from Khati and trek back to Kharkiya and our journey comes to an end.
