About Brahmatal Peak:

  • Another gem of Himalayas beauty is the Brahmatal Trek, dedicated to Lord Brahma. Located in the middle of the Himalayas, it is covered with a blanket of snow. The trail takes you through centuries-old oak and rhododendron forests.
  • The Brahmatal is a beautiful lake that originates from Lohajung Base Camp in the Chamoli district of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand. The Brahmatal trek is also the violence of the same history, and people here have faith in this pond today.

About the Brahmatal Trek from Rishikesh:

  • We will start the journey from Lohajung, our campsite for the day, with a trek briefing. Lohajung is a very pretty village, surrounded by other villages as well.
  • Next, we will trek to Mandoli Village, get some fantastic views of the ranges and meadows, and reach Khopdalia. It will be a long trek with an amazing campsite.
  • The next day is essential, as we will trek to Brahmatal. It is fairly long but worth it, as we get fantastic shades of nature and meadows. The campsite will be in Brahmatal.
  • The next day we will descend to Khorurai, which has splendid views on its trekking route and will be our campsite for the day.
  • Day 5 is the last, as we finish our Brahmatal Trek Route and return to Lohajung with so many memories and beautiful Brahmatal Trek Photos.

By Air:Jolly Grant Aiport, Dehradun is the closest airport positioned at a distance of 35 KM from the city. One can hire a taxi, a cab or a bus from the airport to reach Rishikesh.

By Road:Rishikesh is connected with the major national highways and thus, makes transportation via road convenient from almost all major cities of India.

By Train:Rishikesh Railway Station(RKSH) serves the city but receives a few trains from other cities, so, you may choose Haridwar Railway Station(HW) as an alternative to reach Rishikesh from major cities.
