About Prabalmachi:
- Located in Maharashtra, Prabalmachi is a small hamlet in India. This area is part of the Raigad municipality. Visitors interested in outdoor pursuits including hiking, camping, and fishing will enjoy this trip.
- There is a wide range of hiking difficulties available in the area around Prabalmachi. The most well-known trek is up to the top of Prabalgad Fort, from where you get 360-degree views in every direction.
About the Prabalmachi Fireflies Trek with Camping:
- When the clock strikes four, meet the Trek Leaders at the FC Road entrance of Fergusson College.
- When you arrive at the site, you'll get a briefing and be assigned to a group with those you'll be spending the remainder of the trip with.
- From Thakurwadi, it is around 2.5 kilometers up to Prabalmachi, and the ascent will take you about two hours.
- Take in the enchanting sight of the fireflies along the trail as you make your way to Prabalmachi.
- After a night in beautiful Prabalmachi, maybe you'll like to challenge the steep cliffs of Kalavantin Durg.
- Admire the view for a while, and then go back down to Prabalmachi.
- Once you've had breakfast or lunch, you may resume your journey back to Thakurwadi, the town at the base of the mountain.
- Matheran, a scenic hill station not too far from Prabalmachi, may be reached in about two hours. It's perfect for individuals seeking excitement as well as solitude.

Know before you book

- Each member of our party will need to bring their backpack if we go on a hike.
- Keep a change of clothing handy at all times.
- You should bring the very minimum with you, such as a bag and a torch.

- Bring everything you normally use to keep your face clean, moisturized, protected from the sun, etc.
- Bad weather might force you to delay or perhaps cancel your plans.

By Air:Pune airport(PNQ) is located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the city. Outside the airport, one can easily get a taxi or a bus service to reach the city.
By Road:Pune is well linked with major parts of the country and it connects to the other cities in Maharashtra as well. Major bus services are offered by state-run buses. One can also take a taxi.
By Train:Pune Junction Railway Station(PUNE) is one of the important railway junctions. The city connects with major other cities in the country. From station, cab and taxi services are available.

The firefly, or lucifer beetle, is a kind of flying insect. They are widespread but exceedingly populous in hot and muggy regions. The larvae of fireflies are known as glowworms.
Is there a place to use the restroom along the trail?
Unfortunately, there aren't any decent restrooms along the way. Thakurwadi and Prabalmachi villages each have restrooms where you may clean up before continuing on your journey.
What if I suddenly need Medical Attention?
First aid supplies are constantly on hand. All the tour leaders and helpers have their First Aid Certificates. If the condition worsens, we will rush you to the nearest hospital.
