- It takes one to two hours to finish the popular tourist activity of hiking to the summit. The track is clearly defined and not too challenging, making it appropriate for the majority of those with average fitness levels.
About Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking
- After a briefing at Bali Sunrise Villas (1000m above sea level), we'll climb Mount Batur in the cool pre-dawn air under a canopy of stars after a quick coffee and tea at the starting site.
- As you reach the top, you will truly feel as if you are on top of the world since you can see the caldera lake below, the faraway cone of Mount Agung, and the majestic peak of neighbouring Mount Abang soaring above the clouds.
- We'll enjoy the sunrise from the mountaintop while refuelling with a quick meal of fruit and eggs cooked in volcanic steam.
- There will be plenty of time to unwind and snap pictures of the breathtaking countryside and sunrise.
- As we descend, we'll take in the breathtaking volcanic scenery and perhaps even come across a group of mountain monkeys amusing themselves on some nearby rocks.
- Eventually, a driver will be waiting for you to return to the Bali Sunrise Villas & Restaurant.
- The Batur Sunrise Tour can finish here, but we strongly advise adding a trip to the natural hot springs to your schedule.
