About the Kareri Lake Campsite: 

• It has an Elevation of 2934 m above sea level. Kareri Lake is a shallow high elevation freshwater lake located on the southern spur of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km northwest of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, India.
• Kareri lake is best known for being a trekking destination in the Dhauladhars. Kareri Lake Trek is a 13 km easy-to-moderate trek covering a 5 km forest area including mixed pine and broadleaf forests followed by grasslands interspersed with pine and deodar in the second half of the trail carved into granite rocks. 

About Camping in Kareri Lake:

• A warm welcome drink with a traditional welcome will be offered to you as you arrive at the checking point of the camp and get to know about the fun-filled activity and all other kinds of stuff.
• After your onboarding in the campground, you can take a little rest in your tents and then join the common area for evening tea and snacks with other travelers all around from India.
• You can also take a short trip to the Kareri lakeside area with your partner to explore the area more which is also close to nature and has fantastic views of mountains of the north.
• You can also play board games with people around and engaged with them in the bonfire fire session with some mouth-watering northern Indian food and BBQ and some great music and songs.
• The silence prevailing around the campsite is so good that I am speechless to describe the surroundings and the beauty of the place which is only experienced by viewing it with my own eyes.
• People who desire to escape their hectic lives and traffic would benefit most from the unique and unexplored valley and spending time with nature will calm their bodies and mind and relax them for a while.
• The next day you go for a morning trek which is 13 km long along with a professional guide with you and you will be stunt after viewing the beauty of nature up there which has mindblowing views of the caped mountain.

Know before you go Camping Experience in Kareri Lake:

• Any camp property broken or damaged will be replaced at a reasonable cost.
• All foreign guests must provide their passport and visa details before their arrival.
• There are dustbins nearby to dispose of trash because the neighborhood is quite strict about cleaning and does not tolerate littering without paying a fee.
• The rules set forth by the state government must be followed by everyone.
• It's crucial to maintain social distance in the area.
• You should wear a mask and often wash your hands to maintain hygiene.
