The Kullu and Kangra Valley, Bara Bhangal trail, mesmerising Manali, stunning campsites, dense meadows, and more.
  • This fabulous trek is designed to be mostly on glaciers, a chance to trek through snow-covered trails with our adventurous spirit. Packed with adventure and glistening trails covered with snow, it offers us spellbinding views of Mt.Deo Tibba, Mt Indrasan, Pir Panjal, Rani Sui Lake, and more. One of the specialties of the trek is that even during September and October, the trail is filled with glistening snow.


About Kalihani Pass Trek from Manali: 

  • Our trek will start with a scenic and short drive from Manali to Vashisht, a beautiful small village where we'll stay overnight. 
  • The next day our trekking journey begins as we trek 10 KM to reach Lamadugh, the high-altitude plateau covered with snow while enjoying the views of beautiful glaciers. 
  • The following day we will trek to Riyali Thatch, which has beautiful meadows and tea plantations. We will stay overnight here.
  • The next day we will be reaching Kalihani base camp after trekking for about 9 km, stunning mountain peaks and glaciers will be giving us company in this up-and-down trek today. 
  • The big day has come upon us as we will make it to Kalihani pass today, we will be rewarded by breathtaking and panoramic views of Dhauladhar ranges, Pir Panjal etc. After enjoying we will return to base camp 
  • The trekking down journey begins as we trek down to Dor Nullah via Riyali Thatch, we will be passing through Rani Sui Lake before reaching Dor Nullah.
  • Our descending journey continues as we trek through the beautiful Himachal Pradesh and pause and rest at a suitable place before continuing our journey. 
  • The last trek of our journey and our final trekking destination is Sangchur from where a private vehicle will lead us back to Manali, bidding goodbye to this beautiful and adventurous trek.

Know Before You Book Kalihani Pass Trek:

  • For safety purposes, this activity is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
  • The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be part of the activity.
  • The activity might be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. The next best possible time slot will be informed in such a scenario.
  • Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp object, lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, knife, etc
  • Participants are requested to report at the venue at least 30 minutes before their chosen time slot. Timings must be strictly followed, as the activity is strictly time constraint
  • Participants must pay attention to the guidelines given by the instructor before and after the activity.
  • Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages before and after the activity.

By Air:Kullu - Manali Airport(KUU) (Bhuntar Airport) is the closest airport to Manali. One can take a cab or taxi or private bus to reach desired destination in Manali.

By Road:Roadways are the cheapest and the most convenient means to reach Manali. Both state buses & the private buses connect this city with other major parts of the country like- Delhi, Chandigarh, etc.

By Train:Joginder Nagar Railway Station(JDNX) is the closest railway station to Manali. From the station, one can take a bus or taxi to reach the location.
