About Tattapani:
- It is a small village located in the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh on the right bank of the Sutlej River. "Tatta" signifies hot and "Pani" means water in the regional tongue. The region is well-known for its sulfur-filled hot springs. As stated there, hot springs were flooded into the river after a dam was built.
