About Batur Caldera:

  • Mount Batur is an active volcano located in Bali, Indonesia, and is considered one of the island's most popular tourist attractions. The volcano stands at an elevation of 1,717 meters above sea level and is part of a larger volcanic complex known as the Batur Caldera.
  • You climb the caldera wall, a ridge that rises above the crater lake opposite the volcanic cone of Mount Batur, on the Batur Caldera Sunrise Trek. Views of Mount Batur, Mount Agung, and the beaches of Bali and Lombok are all visible from the summit.

About Batur Caldera Sunrise Trekking:

  • At Bali Sunrise Villas in the village of Toya Bungkah, your tour begins with hot beverages and a briefing from your English-speaking tour guides.
  •  Next, we'll stroll down to the lake to catch the boat to the tiny settlement of Pulak. Due to its short length, the journey is a suitable choice for novice hikers or those seeking a little more leisurely walk than Agung or Batur.
  • The breathtaking panoramic vistas that the rising sun unveils once we reach the top will wow you.
  •  You can see Mount Agung, Bali's most revered summit, as well as the sea and East Bali's shoreline if you turn to the left.
  • You may see Mount Batur's cone and the crater lake below if you turn to the right. On a good day, you can also view the Gili Islands and Mount Rinjani on Lombok.
  • We'll proceed down the caldera crater after taking in the morning vistas, passing by several genuine Balinese mountain settlements.
  • Finally, we make our way down to Pulak, where we return to the villas in a traditional canoe.
