Its jungle views are unrivaled by any other river in Southern and Western India, as it borders the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary. And, most importantly, the 1/2-day rafting trip in India.
- After completing the rafting assembly area at Valpoi, begin this fascinating activity at 9.30 a.m. within the morning or 2:30 p.m.
- After that, you'll be driven to the river, where you'll meet your guides, receive your safety equipment, and receive a briefing before boarding the rafts to begin the nearly 10-kilometer voyage. With names like 'Big Daddy,' 'Giant Haystacks,' 'Y Fronts,' and 'Pipeline,' there are plenty of clean category 2 and 3 rapids.
