About Patalsu Peak:
- Covered in green during summer and a pearly white blanket in winter, this area is one of the most popular travel spots in India. Taking us camping and hiking trips up and down to the Solang Valley and Patalsu Peak makes it the most perfect gateway trip.
- This trek is a must-visit at least once in your life because of the alluring panoramic views of the entire Kullu Valley and Hanuman Tirah, Friendship Peak, and Manali Peak it offers, it will simply take your breath away, here nature keeps surprising you with its wonders. From the top of Patalsu, you can see the sea of snow-capped mountains towering above the Kullu Valley and the stunning views of Lahore and Spiti, truly a sight to behold.
About the Patalsu Peak Trek:
- We will kickstart our journey on an exciting note with our arrival at Manali, a complete paradise. After exploring and being briefed about our trek, we will start our exciting trek journey to another picturesque spot, Solang Village, our first destination.
- Then the same day we will trek to Shagadugh from Solang camp, our trail will consist of Alpine meadows, thick woodlands of Pine and Oak forests and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the rare birds of the Himalayas and catch glimpses of Friendship Peak.
- The following day will be the big day here as we make our way to the majestic Patalsu Peak which lies at an altitude of around 13,500 ft and enjoys the captivating views of Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Shitidhar, Friendship and mountains of the Ladakhi and Dhauladhar Ranges.
- The last day is here, we will trek back from Shagadugh camp to Solang Valley and drive back to Manali, concluding our sweet and short trek.
Know before you book
- Children under the age of 15 should always have a supervisor with them at all times.
- The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be part of the activity.
- The activity might be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. In such a scenario, please communicate with your trek coordinator.
- Participants with Diabetic issues, heart problems, breathing problems, high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc should be extra cautious about their health.
- Participants with liver or kidney issues should be careful.
- Participants must pay attention to the guidelines given by the guide during the trek.
- Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages.
- Drink efficient water and walk slowly, no need to rush.
- Guidelines issued by the respective Government are to be followed. Social distancing is to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and the use of masks are recommended.
- ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking and upon arrival.
- Carry enough winter garments as well as hiking gear such as hiking boots, backpacks, neck warmers, etc.
- If participants feel unwell at any moment they should contact the guide and not avoid or push themselves.
- To protect the ecological stability of our travel places avoid plastic bags and do not pollute the campsites or nearby sites.
- Mobile connection and computer charging points may or may not be available on all campsites at all times.
- Bring enough water and snacks to keep yourself hydrated and full throughout the trek.
- Carry minimum luggage, the more you have, the more trouble.
- An additional cost of transportation from Dehradun Railway Station to other locations is available on request.

By Air:Kullu - Manali Airport(KUU) (Bhuntar Airport) is the closest airport to Manali. One can take a cab or taxi or private bus to reach desired destination in Manali.
By Road:Roadways are the cheapest and the most convenient means to reach Manali. Both state buses & the private buses connect this city with other major parts of the country like- Delhi, Chandigarh, etc.
By Train:Joginder Nagar Railway Station(JDNX) is the closest railway station to Manali. From the station, one can take a bus or taxi to reach the location.
