- Nearest Bustand: Kovalam is linked to major nearby cities via bus route like: Chennai, Madurai, Bangalore and Nagercoil.

By Road:Kovalam has an excellent road network that connects the place with other major cities like- Bangalore, Chennai, etc. Volvo, Deluxe and local buses ply in the city to and for various destinations.
By Train:Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station(TVC) at 15 KM distance from Kovalam is one of the busiest stations in the state. Taxi or buses can be hired from the railway station.
