About the Rajgad fort:

• This fort is dedicated to numerous gorgeous and breathtaking views from the top and inside, and the decorating is amazing. It provides ideal views of the fort's inside and outside. According to legend, the fort was given its name after its fort monarchs. 
• The fort rises 820 metres (2,700 ft) above base level and 1356 m above sea level in the Sahyadri mountain range, from the top it feels like that the clouds are coming and hugging you along with the pleasing wind touching your veins making you feel better.
• The "Ganga Sagar Lake" manmade lake is visible from the fort as well. The "Maha Darwaja" is the only major entrance to the fort (Huge Door).The Nagarkhana Darwaja, a duplicate of the original throne, is located in the King's durbar inside the Raigad Fort and faces the main entrance.

• ID proof must be carried.
• The backpack should be waterproof or covered with a waterproof cover.
• Trekking shoes or any sports shoes with a Good grip should be carried.
