About Lohagad Fort:
- Lohagad Fort, which refers to "Iron Fort" in Marathi, is located near the hill station of Lonavala Khandala and 52 kilometers northwest of Pune. It rises to a height of 1,033 meters or 3,389 feet above sea level. A minor range connects the Lohagad Killa to the nearby Visapur Fort on its eastern side.
- Lohagad fort is devoted with greeneries and is filled with ancient aspect such as cannons, bricks, decorative items, paintaings etc so it will make you shock when you get inside the fort. It even has Nana Phadnis treasure stored inside the fort.
About the Activity:
- Your trek to the Lohagad fort starts from 9:30 a.m before that you may have your breakfast.
- We can climb the stairs to the summit of the fort after which we will pass through four doors on our way to the summit.
- Experience the daring tiny pathways that are often fogged in, therefore take measures when walking to the fort.
