• There are a variety of adventurous sports in Kamshet and it's also called the paragliding paradise of Maharashtra.

About Paragliding in Kamshet:

• Arrive at the take-off point where you will have a small session for safety instructions and you will have to fill up a form citing your health status so that it is assured that you are fit for paragliding. 
• You will be given safety equipment and prepared for the flight. The instructor and pilot will be there constantly motivating you and helping you conquer your fears and safety devices will be strapped onto you by the expert.
• A two-seater plane will transport you high into the sky, where you will take your paragliding flight with a certified instructor.
• The pilot will be flying with you and adjusting the glider to the direction of the wind and keep you safe.
• Take off and revel in the panoramic view of the Sahyadri Mountains with the birds-eye view of the Kamshet village as you fly for 8-20 Mins (Depends on Package Selection).
• The pilot will help you land safely. Once you land safely, you will be transferred to the place of take-off. 

How to Reach Kamshet:

• By Air: Pune Airport  is the nearest airport from where you can take a cab or taxi to Kamshet.
• By Road: Kamshet is 118 km from Mumbai and 56 km from Pune. You can easily get a  cab or taxi to Kamshet.
• By Train: There are regular trains running from Pune to Kamshet. If you are travelling from Mumbai you can take train to Lonvala and then take a sub-urban train to Kamshet.

Know Before You Go for Paragliding in Kamshet:

• Children from 6-18 years are allowed. Children in this age group must be accompanied by their parents/guardians.
• The weight limit for Paragliding in Kamshet is a maximum of 100 KG.
• The timetable is subject to vary depending on wind conditions, and any modifications will be informed at the location.
• Senior citizens with any medical conditions need to report the same to the operator at the site.
• There is no age limit for adults.
• The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be a part of the activity.
• Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp objects, a lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, etc.
• Participants must pay attention to the guidelines given by the instructor before and after the activity.
• Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages before and after the activity.
• Breakage or damage to any item will be charged at the actual price.
• Personal expenses or items of personal nature are not included in the package. Any meals or transportation not included in the itinerary are assumed to be excluded from the package.
• Prefer a T-shirt, full pants, shoes (please avoid slippers/open footwear), cap.
• Please carry water bottles with you.
• All participants have to furnish an Indemnity Form.
• Participants under the age of 6 must have their parent/written guardian's approval.
• Your time slot will be booked based on weather conditions.
• You need to report at Hotel Rangoli, Kamshet, old Pune-Mumbai highway (NH4).
• Kamshet paragliding is not suggested for women who are more than three months pregnant. Anybody who has had major surgery or has a broken leg/arm or has chronic back or neck problems, and so on are also not recommended.
• Physical health and a desire to participate in sports are required to learn this discipline.
• The group size for Kamshet paragliding is 10-15 per day.
