About Raigad Fort:
- Raigad is a hill fort in the Maharashtra district of Raigad, India. It is one of the Deccan Plateau's most powerful strongholds. Before, it was known as Rairee or Rairy fort.
- In 1674 AD, Chhatrapati Shivaji restored Raigad Fort and named it his capital. The fort overlooks the 'Ganga Sagar Lake,' a manmade lake.
About One Day Mumbai to Raigad Fort Trip by Cab:
- Our Day excursion trip starts with Pickup from your hotel in Mumbai at 07:00 AM in the morning.
- On the way, you will get to see many tourist attractions like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak, Raigad Fort, Meghdambari, Jagdishwar Temple, Shirkai Temple, and Takmak Point.
- After the pickup, our driver will take you to all the sightseeing places starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak a monument dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, from there we will move on to Raigad Fort, to Meghdambari and Jagdishwar Temple a lord shiva temple located beside Raigad Fort.
- After the excursion of Raigad Fort and the nearby places, our guide will take you to a restaurant for giving you a taste of Marathi delicacies.
- You can also stop at some places to take pictures with your groups and see the mesmerizing view of all the locations
- After having lunch we will pick up from where we left off and visit Shirkai Temple and Takmak Point.
- At the end of the trip, we will commence our return journey to Mumbai where our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
