- Naneghat is a mountain pass perched up at an elevation of 2625 ft wrapped up in the embrace of the Sahyadri Mountain Range of Western Ghats in Maharashtra. Located approximately 114 KM away from Mumbai, Naneghat is a treasure box filled with natural beauty, adventure and sprinkles of history.
- The history of Naneghat takes you back to the 1st Century BCE in the days of the Satavahana Dynasty. The Pass served as a crucial trade route and centre of cultural exchange in Ancient India. And not to forget the tapestry of Naneghat with fine artwork of nature and an adventurous path through the Caves is Cherry on the Top.
About Naneghat Monsoon Trek from Mumbai:
- Board the bus from your respective pickup points and spark on a journey to the heavens of Naneghat.
- Reach the Base Village early in the day. Take a rest for a while before you start to prepare yourself for the trek.
- Have a briefing session with the Trek Leader and get to know about the team, trek plans and all the safety instructions you will be following.
- Following the footsteps of the Trek Leader, start your journey in the embrace of mother nature after a nice warm breakfast.
- Hearing the whispers of towering trees and melodic chorus of insects and rustling leaves reach the Naneghat Caves.
- Spend some time embracing unique rock structures and marvellous inscriptions taking your back in the Satavahana Dynasty.
- Feel your taste buds tingling as the savoury ingredients of flavour rich lunch meal start to melt in your mouth.

Know before you book
- The trek is weather-bound and may lead to cancellation of the trip in case of unfavourable weather conditions.
- We have the right to modify the trip schedule in case of any unforeseen situation or changes in Govt. rules and regulations.
- The trip strictly prohibited the consumption of alcohol or drugs.
- The meals during the trip will be freshly cooked and packed.
- You need to have a valid ID proof for the trek.
- Carry a waterproof backpack or have a waterproof cover with you.
- Pack at least 2 pairs of comfortable clothes. You can also bring an extra set of clothes if you want.
- Make sure you have a raincoat, windcheater and your necessary toiletries.
- We do provide you with first aid kits, but it is recommended to have your necessary medications with you.
- To keep yourself energized during the trek, have a water bottle and some snacks/dry fruits/energy bars.
- Avoid littering around the trek and keep the environment clean.
- Prevent clothing that is uncomfortable (like saris, etc.)
- Carrying jewellery or other valuables isn't advisable.
- Smoking of cigarettes or consumption of liquor at the premises is allowed.
- Plucking of flowers/fruits is strictly forbidden in-house or within the areas around.
- Washroom facilities are common for all.
- Participants are not permitted to carry any object that is a razor-sharp lighter, luggage case, alcohol, blade, etc.

How To Reach
By Air:The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport(BOM) connects Mumbai to major cities of the country via regular flights. Take a taxi or cab from the airport to reach Mumbai.
By Road:Buses from other states arrive at the Mumbai Central Bus Station. There are different types of buses as per your comfort level and on arrival , you can take a taxi or cab from the bus stand.
By Train:Mumbai Central Railway Station(MMCT) and other stations serve the city. Direct trains are available in Mumbai as it has many stations, you take a taxi from the station to reach your destination.
