About Kothaligad Fort:
- Kothaligad Fort or also known as Peth Fort is a hill fort perched up at an elevation of 3100 ft in the Raigad District of Maharashtra. Embraced by the valleys and Sahyadri Mountain Range, Kothaligad is a complete package of historical stories and spirituality with a twist of adventure and an abundance of natural beauties.
- Kothaligad Fort served as a watchtower to guard the Konkan Region and keep an eye on the trade route near Karjat. The fort also houses a Cave, Peth Shahi, whose intricate rock cuttings and carvings will leave you stunned. Petheshwar, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is also present near the cave showering its visitors with blessings.
About Kothaligad Trek:
- Receive a warm welcome from our representatives and take a ride towards the Base Village.
- Attend a briefing session with the Trek Leader who will guide you through the Trek and Safety Instructions.
- Post briefing, tighten up your gear and follow the lead of your Trek Guide taking you towards Kothaligad Fort.
- Navigate your path passing through dense forests and crossing the lush landscapes spread all around you.
- Witness the sculpted rock carvings and fine architectural designs of the Fort structure hidden in the lush carpet.

Know before you book

- Individuals with heart issues, respiratory problems or any serious medical condition should avoid the trek.
- Children below the age of 10 years and elderly members especially those with mobility issues should refrain from joining the trek.
- Keep children under your assistance throughout the journey.
- Get a fitness level assessment before joining the trek.
