About Chanderi Fort:
- Chanderi, a majestic mountain 800 meters high, stands prominent as a one-way Vangani station on the path from Badlapur to Karjat through education. The Chanderi-Mhaismal pair may be spectacular and visible from distant peaks within the Sahyadris.
- Take advantage of reaching the peak by touring the fort and taking in the breathtaking views. Discover several natural pinnacles caused by wind erosion, including two man-shaped pinnacles, one of evolution's finest masterpieces.

Know before you book

- Rucksack or shoulder bag that can carry the following items.
- Pack your belongings with an additional polythene layer to protect them from rain.
- A water bottle (3 liters minimum) is required.
- Torch with additional batteries and safety pins.
- Cap, spare cotton track pants, and a T-shirt.

By Air:The nearest major airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport(BOM), Mumbai which is located around 90 km from Karjat. A number of taxi and bus services can then be availed to reach Karjat.
By Road:Karjat is connected to the other major places of the State through good road networks. Private and state-run buses connect it with the neighbouring cities like- Mumbai, Pune, etc.
By Train:One can reach the Karjat Railway Station(KJT) and book a cab or taxi to reach the desired location from the station.
