About Kangra Valley:
- The river Beas flows through this valley, which is dotted with various perennial streams that water it. The valley is 2000 feet above sea level on average and you will find that the valley's majority has a humid subtropical climate.

- Your journey starts in charming Dharamsala/McLeodganj, where many flies go for a hill holiday.
- The day you arrive in McLeodganj, you may visit the museums and stroll around the Tibetan market.
- Start your hike in the Kangra Valley by passing through the charming Kareri Village to reach the magnificent high-altitude Kareri Lake.
- Visit strange Hindu communities tucked away in the valleys, creepy lakes, and old temples, and take in the stunning vistas of the Dhauladhar Range.

Know before you book

How To Reach
By Air:Kangra-Gaggal Airport or Kangra Airport(DHM) is the nearest airport to Mcleodganj. Alternatively, one can board a flight till Delhi and then travel to Mcleodganj via a bus or a car.
By Road:Private buses and several state-owned buses connect Mcleodganj with other cities like Chandigarh, Dharamshala, and Delhi. On reaching Mcleodganj bus stand, one may hire a taxi to reach the city.
By Train:Pathankot Cantt Railway Station(PTKC) is well-connected to the major cities of India and serves as the nearest railhead to Mcleodganj. From the station, taxis or buses may be hired.
