About the Kanamo Peak:

  • Buried in the heart of Spiti, Kanamo Peak rises behind the settlements of the Kibber and Tashi gangs. The Kanamo peak trek is amazing and probably the most enjoyable way to reach 6000m in India. Kanamo means "white lady" in Japanese. This peak is easy to reach and climb if you adapt. No climbing skills are required.
  • It is a beautiful trek with a unique Himalayan flavor i.e., Barren, desolate, mountainous areas with sparse vegetation and light snow. When you reach the top, you have a 360-degree view of the whole area, which is very beautiful. From the top, we could see Kullu, Kinnaur, and Ladakh in the distance.
  • The trekking journey starts from Manali, after meeting the guide. Drive to Batal over Rohtang Pass, passing through Kullu and Manali Valleys. After reaching Batal, we will spend the night there.
  • Wake up to beautiful views and start the exciting journey to Chandra Taal Lake, passing through beautiful views of the Himalayan Ranges and Shigri Glacier. Reach the campsite and chill out with your fellow trekkers.
  • In the morning, have breakfast and freshen up as we leave for Kunzum Pass, stroll through the monastery and picturesque Spiti Valley, then reach the campsite and spend the night there.
  • The next day starts with trekking to Kanamo Peak Trek, we pass through lakes and steep slopes, reach Kaza town and explore the place, then return to base camp and relax there.
  • After breakfast, we will trek to the most awaited destination to Kanamo Peak, get a panoramic view and capture the moments, spend some time over there and return to the base camp.
  • The trek comes to an end as we drive back to Manali with loads of memories and experiences with us to cherish forever.
