- Once the moon threatens to appear in the sanctuary, go on a night trail there, stroll to the valley or the stream, as they prefer to avoid civilization.
- A large number of forts, hills, rock climbing areas, flowing waterfalls, scenic lakes, and streams can be found in the Bhimashankar trekking area.
- When the monsoons arrive, the landscape transforms into something truly stunning, the wet canopies allow the winds to blow through, wildflowers cover the forts and valley entrances, and clouds fall to cover the ground.
- Get up early and eat breakfast before making the walk to the Bhimashankar Temple. Spend some time here and then continue your journey to Pune.

Know before you book
- All luggage is packed in a plastic bag, and it is all packed in a large, sturdy trekking sack.
- A whole set of extra clothes and socks.
- Mandatory water bottle of at least 3 liters.
- Energy drinks that contain glucose-d and personal medications.
- sweater, thick clothing, or rain gear.
- A sleeping bag, a thermocouple mat, or regular shatranj and shawl are all recommended as well as good hiking or sports shoes (sandals, chappals, and floaters are not allowed).
- Torch with an additional set of batteries (must)

How To Reach
By Air:Pune airport(PNQ) is located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the city. Outside the airport, one can easily get a taxi or a bus service to reach the city.
By Road:Pune is well linked with major parts of the country and it connects to the other cities in Maharashtra as well. Major bus services are offered by state-run buses. One can also take a taxi.
By Train:Pune Junction Railway Station(PUNE) is one of the important railway junctions. The city connects with major other cities in the country. From station, cab and taxi services are available.
