About Bhimashankar- Shidi Ghat
- One of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a holy site is Bhimashank as it is situated in the Bhorgiri village in the Sahyadri range's ghat region and located at a height of around 3,250 feet, is surrounded by hills and is covered in lush, green rainforests.
- Additionally, the roads to the location involve a lot of steep slopes and also pass through unsettling woodland, which adds to the sense of suspense and excitement. It is also ideal for attracting mountain and wildlife lovers to the location.
About the Bhima Shankar trek- Shidi Ghat:
- You may start the trek by 5:30 am after a small introduction session with the trek leader and the other trekkers.

- It is also perfect for luring nature and mountain enthusiasts to the area.
- The best and most pleasurable time to trek Bhimashankar is during the monsoons when there are infinite stretches of greenery, waterfalls, and gushing streams.
- Numerous endangered plant and animal species that may be found at the Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary such as the Giant Indian Squirrel is a popular attraction, and other animals like the Panther, Sambar, and Wild Boar are also present.

- And a haversack or backpack to carry all of the aforementioned items, leaving hands free to assist one another while trekking. On the event, sling bags, jholas, trolley bags, etc. are not permitted.

By Train:As Lonavala Railway Station(LNL) is situated between the Mumbai-Pune railway line, Lonavala is well connected to all the major trains that run from Mumbai to Pune.
