About Beas Kund:
- There are some wonderful places where the river Beas flows. Meandering through the solang Valley is a rejuvenating experience and the journey is full of wonder. The Beas Kund Trek trail lets you explore the enchanting meadows of Dhundhi and Bakarthach. During this trek you will also see majestic peaks such as Hanuman Tivah, Friendship Peak, Sitdar and Seven Sisters.
- Beas Kund is situated in the Kullu valley. You can witness the panoramic view of the Pir Panjal range along with other mountain peaks from the Beas Kund.
- Beas Kund is a sacred lake believed to be the source of the Beas River in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 3,810 meters. This pristine beauty marks the begining of the River Beas, said to have been the waters where the sage Vyas bathed while contemplating and writing the Hindu epic Mahabharta.
About Beas Kund Trek from Manali:
- Arrival at old Manali and meeting the guide at 10:00 AM. Then we will reach the campsite and start our adventure with exploring Jogini Falls, river crossing, rapelling and then return to campsite to enjoy the night and dinner.
- The next is going to be very exciting as we travel to solang to and start the trek towards Dhundhi which is a 8kms hike and then we will rest at the campsite.
- The next day we will trek to Beas Kund, in our way we will witness the views of beautiful Himalayas, Deo Tibba, Indrasan and natural beauty. After reaching Beas Kund we will trek to Bakarsach, here the view is the most stunning so we will enjoy some peaceful moments there and then trek back to Dhundi and stay.
- The next day we will have breakfast and return back to solang after enjoying some adventurous activities and return back to Manali.

Know before you book
- The cost of transportation from Manali to Solang Valley and back isn't typically included in the package. To get to Solang Valley, you can individually use a shared taxi or a public transportation option.
- The minimum qualified age to go on a trek is 7.
- It takes some time to get used to high altitudes because the climate there is different from that in the lowlands.
- Pay attention to the instructor who will give you a safe and solid hiking experience.
- Avoid hiking throughout the night.
- Before you start hiking, consult your doctor as a precautionary.
- The hike goes through the green zone, therefore avoiding deteriorating the natural properties.
- Buses depart from Solang to Manali daily at 12 PM and 3 PM. The distance from Solang to Manali is 13kms and the journey to Manali takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
- This activity is generally not recommended for women over 3 months pregnant for safety reasons. It is also not recommended for those who have had necessary surgery or are injured or have recurring back or neck problems.
- Participants should note the teacher's suggestions before and after the activity.
- Avoid heavy meals and alcoholic beverages before and after the interest.
- Each visitor must verify their identity at the time of booking and upon arrival, PAN Cards are no longer accepted as valid proof of identity.

By Road:Roadways are the cheapest and the most convenient means to reach Manali. Both state buses & the private buses connect this city with other major parts of the country like- Delhi, Chandigarh, etc.
By Train:Joginder Nagar Railway Station(JDNX) is the closest railway station to Manali. From the station, one can take a bus or taxi to reach the location.
